And time gets away from me once again. Holy! May came in a hurry didn't it?
So to update y'all, I've moved back to Houston to spend time with the family before I make a permanent job relocation to Hawaii. :) Over the past 2 months, I have been finishing my work contact at Kaiser South City and spending as much time with my friends in SF. Thanks to my sweeties and family Tina, Casey, Sharon and Meredith, for providing a warm bed and/or hugs along my 2,000 mile trek from SF to Katy.
Alex and Ivan are the best roommates on this planet! I'll miss our Xbox Kinnect nights and our family time watching Rupaul Drag Race and American Idol. Those two guys, I couldn't love and adore more. I'll see them again in Hawaii or I'll have to track their sweet asses down!!! Yes, boys, that is a threat. ;)
Oh the Castro district, my stomping grounds when I stomped. I miss your public nudity with the random naked guys, all my fabulous drag queens and of course the cheap loaded drinks. Oh, Castro, you had one satisfied hetero customer!
I will not miss the weather, however. Yes, the fog was gorgeous from Twin Peaks and the sunsets/sunrises were a pretty sight but the cold weather, needing a hoodie all the time, cloudy/foggy days and closed toed shoes....HELLLLL NOOOO!! I'm moving to Hawaii, come on, that tells you something about how I feel about weather.
SF is such an amazing city with everything that you can possible need and want. Eclectic style and personality. Such open mindedness about everything is one quality that stood out. You are who you are so WERK IT!!!
Thank you SF for a great experience.
And just a quick shout out...Congrats Vance & Jenna for becoming parents and Veronica and Meredith for your graduate program completion.
As always, a few pics...
