Time flies

Sorry blog world, I've neglected you! Life happens and other social medias get primary slots. Facebook is my go to source. For the few classics who choose not to have their lives in front of everyone to see, I want to let you know that you are still in my thoughts and I care.

Time flies and so much happens. Recently the US had to experience a sad time when a couple of crazies set off bombs at the Boston marathon. Bombs are scary for sure. Other countries though deal with that on a daily basis. I just feel grateful that overall we Americans don't have that suffering and hope that other recognize that as well. We do have gang shootings and arson that kill so many more, so hopefully any changes that are occurring are happening in our own backyards. For me, I contribute to the health side. People are killing themselves by not taking care of themselves. Everyone has a different battle to fight. Mine happens in the hospital rooms. What are you doing to make a difference?

So that's my soap box rant...in other news, life is happening. My brothers continue to be amazing fathers. Devon and Celeste are graduating high school. The younger ones are growing like weeds.  They are ridiculously smart too, even if they are little smart asses, they know exactly what they are doing. :) Mom is okay. Yet another diagnosis to add to the list, but she seems to be holding on strong and continuing to live her life and defying any bad news. :) Love her stubbornness. I wonder where I get it from? Hmmm. Dad and Barbara welcomed me for a short stay and we had tons of laughs. Mica turned 90 this month. Go head lady!! She rocked out at Chucky Cheese's with her grandkids and great grandbabies.

Me, the usual, living the island life. Slippahs are normal footwear. Closed shoes make me feel constricted, unless I'm hiking and that's just for foot protection. :) I've joined the outrigger canoe club in my area and loving it. Such a great workout. Starting class 5 next week. Seriously, time passes by so quickly. The good thing is that I'm breathing it all in and taking my moments. I sense a time of transition is happening although I'm not sure in what area it is, but just an intuition. Of course I'd love it to be a smart, sexy, funny, employed man to come into my life, but my time for that isn't quite now I believe. Time will tell.

Love you all. Take a moment, breathe and love. Hope to see you soon or at least chat a bit.
Aloha!
